Default LP at the shore dining

I saw the same thing as far as the Laconia Sun advertisement picture today. I thought it was deceptive! I know I can't dock at the Lobster Pound. I know the management knows the same thing. Despite any offers, mood setting, or deals, it's still deceptive! Also BIGSTAN, no breaks for deceptive advertisements! No lighthouse either, to help wayward sailers or divers.

Easy on the CAPS there - I hope this isn't a large enough deal to get anyone worked up. Judging by the tone of all the posts it looks like nobody was duped by this 'deceptive' ad (come on already).

Deceptive is a relative term - you don't like the ad and i have no issue with it. Thus it's a matter of opinion.

There is very little feedback on the food quality / value and level of service of the LP as of late - and these are the things that really matter.

I have had a couple of so/so experiences and many a good time here after this last season. Though I normally don't feel the need to praise for a level of quality I feel should be expected, in this case I think I must - as it looks like their proponents are far outweighed by the opponents (and I was once an opponent, as was seen on a thread which has long since been removed).

I look forward to many a Pats game here in the months to come.

Default No big deal ?

Maybe it's no big deal to you Big Stan but you should see what that parking lot did to my prop. But I'll give you this, ten entrees for ten dollars sounds good on the surface but who can down ten entrees ? A deal like that might pull FLL out of Mickey D's.

I don't sense the outrage here - there is obviously something wrong with you!

I know what you mean, I could only eat 5. Maybe I could get the other 5 in a "doggy bag" for later, all for $10. .......... oh ... maybe that was 10 at $10 each ....

PS - there is no truth to the rumor that BIZER is modifying the lake level chart to show a 20 foot rise in Winni.

PPS - I do think BIZER needs to add the lighthouse to the next revision of the lake charts.

Geez....

Its just an ad.... and its OBV photoshopped! Why get soo twisted? It's just an ad! It def seems like people are just looking for an excuse to bash this place and a few others! I seriously doubt ANYONE is going to think that they the LP is that close to the water....

They are advertising some GREAT specials though.... I will def keep ya posted once I try them this weekend!

Advertising is just that, getting ones name and or business out there to attract customers. Deceptive I don't think so, they aren't saying or offering anything they don't offer. As far as the pic, they are in the lakes region and that is a very big hook for local businesses. In this very tough economy I think and advertising to help yours and other local businesses should be encouraged. Remember the more traffic it creates the more dollars for the local economy. JMHO And I am not nor have ever been affiliated or employed by the Lobster Pound but have and will continue to eat there as I enjoy the food.
