Default sounds the same

Most modern country acts sound like Jackson Browne anyway these days In fact most of these country acts that come to Meadowbrook sound like a combo of the Eagles and Bob Seger. Current country for the most part is like R&R with a little twang & steel guitar thrown in.

I agree with this quote and with UpTheSaukee that it's more like 30% country

I would also say most of these acts are "modern" Country, not "Western"....

( I like this modern country music and the pop-country)

I just saw the summer line up and I think it's pretty good. I see Lynard Skynard in coming in June. I saw them with the Doobie Brothers in Hartford, CT a couple of years ago and thought it was a fantastic concert. Too loud, but a great show.
I guess I am getting old and can't take the noise.

What, generally speaking, are the ticket prices for Meadowbrook? I have never been there.

I think your looking at last years schedule. They only have a few shows listed for 2009 so far...
