I was on the Suissevale beach that day and our customary spot gave us a perfect view of the incident. He landed in a tight spot and ended up with a pontoon inside the swim area. After a lot of time, huffing and puffing by a few members, and a powwow between MP and Moultonborough PD, the pilot was not cited (but was likely embarassed). I think he picked a poor spot to land but I think the lake was so busy he had few choices.

I was also there and witnessed the whole thing, he was coming right at me! I understand it did seem dangerous as the time because to many, they're not used to seeing a plane land like that. My assumption is he could have picked a better place to land, but the fact is nobody did get hurt and that scene, I feel, got blown very far out of proportion. Nice plane!
